American Academy of Family Physicians Recognizes Sanofi with its Highest Award for Long-Time Dedication to Family Medicine
Sanofi Pasteur accepts the Distinguished and Meritorious Service to Family Medicine from the AAFP Foundation.

The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) has recognized Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines unit of Sanofi, with the 2018 Award for Distinguished and Meritorious Service to Family Medicine. This annual award recognizes individuals or organizations who have demonstrated a long-time commitment to advancing, supporting, and contributing to the AAFP and the specialty of family medicine.

Sanofi has a long history of collaboration with both the AAFP and the AAFP Foundation on key issues in family medicine. Each year, the company provides annual grants that enable the AAFP Foundation to develop public health initiatives, and supplies resources that help to enhance education for family physicians and practices. One such initiative, the Highlight on Vaccinations for Teens (HOV4T) program facilitated panel discussions and provided resources to encourage the prioritization of teen vaccinations when patients have their annual exam at age 16.
