Sanofi Celebrates the Power of Collective Impact and Strong Partnerships

On Monday, October 29th, Sanofi hosted 67 New Jersey and Pennsylvania-based non-profit partners to celebrate the collective impact and community partnerships that help make local communities stronger and more vibrant. The event, held in Bridgewater, NJ, was attended by more than 200 guests, including several elected officials as well as Sanofi employees.

“Through our long-standing program, Sanofi in Our Communities, we support the communities where our employees live and work with programs that address critical needs, such as science education and other outreach programs,” said Pete Lalli, lead, Corporate Social Responsibility, North America. “These efforts not only help us build healthier communities, but also a more effective organization.”

In 2018 alone, Sanofi has given the following support to communities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania:

  • Donated nearly $1.8 million to local non-profit organizations;
  • Volunteered 927.5 hours (nearly 39 days) by employees to several projects such as Camp Nejeda diabetes camps and United Way Day of Caring;
  • Matched dollar-for-dollar nearly $150,000 employee donations, doubling 242 individual employee gifts;
